Incumbents perform the most complex professional engineering work requiring a substantial level of professional training and experience. In addition to performing the full range of journey-level and advanced skilled duties, incumbents serve as the working lead person of other professional and sub-professional engineers and consultants, coordinating and overseeing their work and providing guidance and training. ![]() Senior Project Engineer is the advanced journey and working lead-level classification in the professional engineering series. Under general supervision, performs complex professional engineering, project and construction management-related duties for District capital improvement projects and new developments performs process engineering duties evaluates District assets and makes recommendations on asset maintenance and replacement schedule and plans.
